Victoria Falls

Named "Musi oa Thunya" in the local language, meaning “the smoke that thunders”, Victoria Falls is the largest single curtain of waterfall on earth. It is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World as well as a World Heritage Site. The Falls are a majestic 1700m wide, 108m deep and can best be seen from the Zimbabwe side.

Zimbabwe: Despite recent political developments in Zimbabwe, the town of Victoria Falls remains safe for foreign visitors. Take a walk along The Falls and feel the awe-inspiring power of nature.

Zambia: Victoria Falls can also be seen from Livingstone in Zambia. From here you can also take walks along The Falls.

Activities around the Falls from both countries include:

  • Helicopter flips over The Falls
  • White-water river rafting
  • Bungy jumping above the Zambezi River
  • Boat cruises on the mighty Zambezi River
  • Game viewing
  • Elephant rides

  • And much more...

Being only 100 km from the game rich floodplains of Chobe National Game Park in Botswana, one can easily visit both places in one trip.
